Co-owners / Directors
Hello I'm Georgia! I have always been passionate about dancing, performance, teaching and choreography. I absolutely love the challenge of creating intricate routines and encouraging students to try new things, contribute to the creative process and develop their skills and personal style. Choreography is my main passion, from creating mini dances when I was little, to producing my own short dance film in 2015. I graduated from Macquarie University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Dance & Performance, Media, Culture & Communications. Since then, I have been working with a Dance Company teaching in Primary Schools across NSW & am studying a Post-Graduate Bachelor of Primary Teaching.
The experience and opportunity to own and direct a dance school has been an amazing adventure. Sharing my own passion, love and enthusiasm for dance with students of all ages, working with dancers with so many different talents and watching that moment when a student achieves something new has been the highlight of my year! Being a part of the GLM Dance Studio journey is so exciting and I can't wait to see where this adventure takes us!
Hi, I'm Louisa! I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education / Bachelor of Arts majoring in Dance & Performance at Macquarie University. I begun dancing at Eileen Phillips Dance Academy when I was four years old, starting off in a tiny tots ballet class before going on to discover my love for all styles of dance.
I have been choreographing dance routines and teaching classes for many years now and it is so encouraging to share my love of dance with student's of all ages and ability, and to see them bring so much to each lesson; whether it be creative ideas or just awesome energy!
I have a real passion for Hip-Hop as well as Musical Theatre as I feel for me personally, these styles allow for so much freedom and expression.
Owning and directing a dance school has always been a dream of mine and it's so exciting to be a part of this team and see this dream become a reality!
Hey guys, I'm Michelle! I have been dancing at Eileen Phillips Dance School since i was 4, all the way back in 1997, and it has become a huge part of who I am. I danced my way through both Primary and High School competing in more competitions than I can count. I have been choreographing class routines for quite a while now, but have created thousands for myself over the years! The parts I enjoy most about choreographing, is the challenge of storytelling and visualising the end product of patterns, movements, and overall effect.
I love the 'voice' dance movement gives me and how quickly it can change my mood. It has been my favourite thing to do for as long as I can remember, and am so excited and grateful to be able to base part of my career around it!
I graduated from Macquarie University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy in June 2018, and previously completed a Bachelor of Human Movement at the University of Technology Sydney.
