GLM proudly teaches the Ballet Australasia Ltd syllabus, introducing the recognised traditional technique of Classical ballet in carefully graded and interesting exercises. Classical Ballet is a celebration of strict adherence to form and technique, combining graceful, fluid movements and story telling. At GLM we celebrate dancers achieving their goals and personal bests in ballet, enjoying the artistry and challenge of mastering the style. Ballet creates strong and capable dancers, with abounding benefits inside and outside the Studio - artistry, mental agility, cardio-vascular fitness and confidence - the list goes on! If you want to improve as a dancer, picking up a Ballet class would always be one of out top recommendations. It’s never too late and you’re never too old: We have a great range of Ballet classes this year at GLM, welcoming dancers of varying experience levels.

Beginners welcome: Dancers with all levels of experience will feel supported by our friendly and nurturing teachers.
Ages listed are based on the age a dancer turns in 2024.

Kindy Ballet

Ages 5-6 years

Senior or Adult Ballet? Senior Ballet is positioned for older teens and younger adults with varying experience levels. Our Adult Ballet class is a wonderful group of dancers, usually aged between roughly 30 and 60+, and all experience levels are welcome (beginners are certainly encouraged!). Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like assistance deciding which class is right for you.

Helpful Information

Location: Our studio is on Jersey Street, less than 5 minutes from Westfield. Get directions here.

Trials: We offer a complimentary trial in any class at GLM.

Enrolments: We love welcoming new students to the GLM family! New enrolments are welcome throughout the year (tuition will be pro rata). Please note classes break for school holidays. Click here to learn more about enrolling at GLM.

Showcase: The high point of the dance year for many, GLM presents a Showcase each December - two fabulous evenings in which our entire student body gets to show their progression and perform the dances they have been learning in their classes for their family, friends and loved ones.
