From toddlers to retirees (and everyone in between), we believe that dance - and all its magic - is for everyone. At GLM, you’ll find a vibrant and friendly studio where you can express yourself, achieve your dance goals, and feel completely at home. Whether you’re trying Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, or Contemporary, you’ll quickly see why our dancers return year after year!

Preschoolers

Ages 3 - 5 years

Through music, movement, rhythm, and dance, our preschool classes provide the perfect introduction to dance. These sessions build confidence, coordination, and a love for movement - a fantastic foundation before exploring specific dance styles.

Rigorous technique, graceful aesthetic, precise, flowing and ethereal - Ballet is proof that dancers don’t need wings to fly! We love Ballet at GLM, and proudly offer the Ballet Australasia Ltd (BAL) Ballet grades with optional exams.

Jazz

Feeling Jazzy? We LOVE Jazz classes at GLM! A funky and popular style grounded in solid technique, Jazz is a strong yet super fun foundation for those wanting to learn to dance or improve their technical skills. GLM proudly offers the Ballet Australasia Ltd (BAL) Jazz grades with optional exams.

Contemporary

Ready to get creative with your movements? Contemporary is an innovative and expressive style of dance that combines elements of many dance genres including jazz, ballet and modern, exploring the boundaries, versatility and improvisation in movement.

Lyrical

Lyrical places a strong focus on storytelling, connecting music and song lyrics to a dancer’s movements and expression. It is a style not dissimilar to Contemporary, also utilising techniques from ballet and jazz, however, there are key differences.

Hip Hop

Rather pop than plié? Hip Hop is a street style of dance that incorporates strong and distinctive movements, often performed to the epic beats of hip hop, urban or RnB music.

Musical Theatre

Love a good showtune? Are you a performer at heart? With a strong emphasis on theatre jazz, our Musical Theatre classes support students to develop their skills in singing, dancing and acting, learning how to combine all three disciplines into a musical performance (but don't worry, singing isn't compulsory!).

Performance Troupe

By invitation only

Our Performance Troupe is a selective class, in which students must receive an invitation to enrol. Our Troupe focuses on developing advanced dance skills and creating routines to be performed competitively throughout the year.
