Age Recommendations: BAL Grades

GLM proudly teaches the Ballet Australasia Limited (BAL) syllabus grades in Ballet, Tap and Jazz classes. We provide our students with recognised technique training in fun and expertly formulated grade progressions, with the option of exams. Some of our classes teach a dedicated Grade. Below is the BAL provided age recommendations for these 2024 classes. Please note these are a guide only. If you would like to discuss your child's suitability before booking a trial or enrolling, please contact us.

  • Grade 2: 9-10 years

  • Grade 3: 10-11 years

  • Grade 5: 11-12 years
