It’s never too late to start!

We offer a variety of Tap classes for all experience levels and ages, from beginners to advanced dancers. Everyone is welcome, and our friendly, nurturing teachers are here to support your journey.

All ages are based on the age you or your dancer turns in 2025.

Kindy Jazz/Tap Combo

Ages 5-6 years

Saturday 11:00am - 12:00pm

Beginners Jazz/Tap Combo

Ages 7-8 years

Saturday 12:15pm - 1:15pm

Primary Tap

Ages 9-10 years

Friday 4:30pm - 5:15pm

Junior Tap

Ages 10-12 years

Monday 3:45pm - 4:45pm

Intermediate Tap

Ages 13-15 years

Monday 5:45pm - 6:45pm

Senior Tap

Ages 16+ years

Monday 6:45pm - 7:45pm

Adult Tap

Ages 18+ years

Wednesday 7:45pm - 8:45pm

Choosing the Right Class

Senior or Adult Tap?

Senior Tap: Is an intermediate + level class, perfect for older teens and younger adults with tap experience.
Adult Tap: A supportive group, typically aged 30 to 60+, suited to beginners.

What is Jazz/Tap Combo?

Jazz/Tap Combo is a 1 hour combined style class in which dancers will progress in learning both Jazz and Tap. Combined classes benefit our younger dancers as they develop skills in different dance styles in a condensed and affordable format, enhancing the range of foundational techniques and discovery of aptitude.

Helpful Information

Location: Our studio is on Jersey Street, less than 5 minutes from Westfield. Get directions here.

Trials: We offer a complimentary trial in any class at GLM.

Enrolments: We love welcoming new students to the GLM family! New enrolments are welcome throughout the year (tuition will be pro rata). Please note classes break for school holidays. Click here to learn more about enrolling at GLM.

Uniform: Uniform requirements by style of dance are listed on this webpage.

Showcase: The high point of the dance year for many, GLM presents a Showcase each December - two fabulous evenings in which our entire student body gets to show their progression and perform the dances they have been learning in their classes for their family, friends and loved ones.
